Pelosi, Thompson to Hold Press Conference on January 6 Commission & Emergency Security Supplemental

(WASHINGTON) – Speaker Nancy Pelosi will join Chairwoman Rosa DeLauro, Chairman Bennie Thompson and Chairwoman Zoe Lofgren for a press conference tomorrow, May 19th, at 2:30 p.m. E.T. in the Capitol Visitor Center, on two pieces of legislation to pass in the House this week that will establish an independent, bipartisan 9/11-style commission to investigate the January 6th attack on the United States Capitol Complex as well as provide $1.9 billion in emergency security supplemental funding to respond to January 6th.
